Job Description & Requirements
- Claim submissions and associated works in accordance with the established claim procedures, following up with it till issuance of Invoice.
- Handle VO submissions and notifications, Gather necessary documentation from the project team, and maintain up-to-date records related to VOs.
- Update the Budget and relevant procedures in the internal software (NAV system) to facilitate the procurement team to fulfill the Project team’s request.
- Communicate effectively to manage expectations and foster positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain contemporary records for various purposes such as Extensions of Time (EOT).
- Reporting and Documentation – Maintain accurate records of project costs, payments, and contractual agreements, VOs details for several purposes including audit and compliance.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, Assess sub-contract claims and issue Sub-con payment certificates.
- Assist Contract Manager in preparing the reports to senior management and finance regarding project progress and financial status and update it time to time.
- Aid in detailing contractual claims and disputes associated with the projects involving.
- Monitor and control project costs against agreed budgets.
- Follow the final account procedures of Client as well as Sub-con while closing a project.
- Support commercial and other departments with related work as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, methods and procedures.
- Accuracy in cost estimation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload effectively.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
- Proficient in relevant software (e.g.MS Excel, Word).
- Able to contribute individually as well as a team.
